Lyle just mentioned this in conversation and I went back to look at the
link...
OMFG! It's a Java version of crobots! I loved crobots when I was a kid;
started playing around with it in the early '90s and got seriously
obsessed, had some hardcore ladder-style competitions with friends. There
was also a great PlayStation game later on (can't remember the day) that
took the same concept but had block-style instructions with edge control
flow you had to fit into a small grid that got bigger as you advanced
through the game and upgraded your "CPU".
I'm not sure whether to thank you for passing this on or be upset about the
potential time-suck. :)
