Currently seeking:
Highly motivated, passionate, Java engineers, capable of working at
all tiers of a web application, interested in
joining an exciting start-up in Portland, Oregon.

Desired Skills & Experience:
- Hands-on experience in leading and designing web application development
projects
- Notable experience with PostgreSQL
- Passion for exploring the relatively new world of Big Data.
- A solid understanding of JavaScript frameworks including Java, JQuery,
AJAX & JSON, and API design
- Previous start-up experience; be willing to work in the fast-paced, agile
environment, and be ready to add your input to the strategic direction of
the company
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate, grasp and translate
business needs into highly optimized data structures and flows
- Highly organized individual with an elevated sense of personal
responsibility

Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, improve upon, and extend to our existing customer-facing
web application and web services.
- Work directly with product designers, developers, network engineers to
deliver well-tested, well-documented, high-quality code you can hang your
hat on.
- Pay close attention to details, answer questions that haven't been asked
yet, and ensure close adherence to architecture standards
