Good morning pjug,
InfoGroup Northwest Inc. has a couple new Java positions with a start-up!
Please see job description below.
Thank you,
Req #:10332
Title:1 architect and 2 developers
Location:Vancouver, WA
Duration:2 Months
Contact(s): Susan Schmidt (susans at infogroupnw.com)
Job Description:
Position #1 - An experienced Java programmer/analyst who can build an
application, starting with good requirements definition through implementation,
testing, and Q/A. This person can focus on building applications as they will
already have a seasoned architect, who can deal with the 'big picture'.
Shouldn't be afraid of maintenance or operations - but isn't expected to major
at it.
Position #2 - An experienced 'open source tools' person used to implementing web
apps using PHP, Perl, HTML, etc. for applications such as subscription
management, etc.; ideally in a Linux environment. We have a subscription
solution needing to be built or acquired that I think would benefit from this
type of person. More specifically, who could grab a decent open source solution
using that technology and bring it in-house to customize and integrate with
other applications.
Position #3 - Architect and lead for all applications development. Can
technically lead the team, fill all the roles, plot a technology roadmap, keep
up with the industry's pace of change and bring the environments and
applications they're responsible for with them. This person needs to set the
infrastructure in place and participate in adding additional talent to round out
the team.
The best candidates will be self-starters, motivated, show initiative, good
communicators, and team-friendly though they'll be able to work alone also. Can
telecommute but will need to be at the Vancouveroffice for a balance of
communication and planning.
TO APPLY, please send a word version resume to, susans at infogroupnw.com
