It's all here: http://www.oracle.com/technology/community/sun-oracle-community-continuity.html

Goodbye Kenai, JavaOne is merged with Oracle OpenWorld in September, and other briefs by Oracle show GlassFish and NetBeans will not have any money spent on them. JDeveloper will be their IDE.

JavaOne and Oracle OpenWorld - with two conferences in the same location, I wonder how many sessions they'll cut back to? They can't have he same number of sessions in Java with additional Oracle stuff at Moscone, there just wasn't room.

One line I couldn't figure out about JavaOne: "Furthermore, unlike in recent years, JavaOne will focus solely on Java Technology and its associated ecosystem" . Wonder what that means...

If you learn of an Apple-Google-Nintendo merger, do not be troubled. For you are in Elysium, and are already dead!
