It is possible to run both Java and PHP in the same app server

environment. So you could have Drupal for the static pages and JSF

serving up dynamic pages.  You would probably want to use your Drupal

theme CSS and resource files in your JSF pages for consistent

branding.



The advantage of using Drupal is two fold.  One is SEO; the other is

that it's easier for users to create and modify content.



You could also use PHP for the dynamic pages as well.  But then you

can't leverage your existing JEE apps business logic very easily.
