The successful candidate for this position will join a small team developing, testing, and securing a platform for secure web application deployment.  This individual will develop software programs to meet project objectives. Individual will implement components involving network communication and protocol validation and document designs, operation, and recovery procedures for the platform. The successful candidate must be able to work independently to complete assigned tasks and function in a product development environment.

Required Skills:
* 5-to-10 plus years of software design and programming experience
* Must be proficient in Java; must have Java comprise the majority of recent experience
* Strong working and practical experience of Unix (Linux, Mac SOX) and current network and system technology standards.
* Experience with object-oriented design, development, and programming
* Knowledge of net-centric solutions, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), and distributed enterprise applications
* Knowledge of enterprise service bus technologies
* Excellent problem and root cause analysis skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Must be US Citizen due to Government contracts

A few things About:

Strong ties with the government for contracted SAAS type roles.  Recently moved into new construction with lots of space, nice amenities and free parking.  Laid back with casual attire.
