Howdy,

I was wondering if I could get your feedback on an idea, and better yet,
your participation if it's of interest to you.

A few weeks ago I was at the first meeting of the Oregon Stimulus Plan and
it got me to thinking. There are lots of people in our community with great
skills but no job. And there are lots of startups that need exactly those
skills, but haven't gotten to the point where they have the cash to hire
people. Why not get the two together, accelerating startup growth to create
paying jobs?

To get more details, here are links to a couple of documents to look at
(these can also be found at http://tryMEout.processpath.com):

Executive Summary (one-page PDF) -

&name=DLFE-1403.pdf> tryMEout Executive Summary.pdf

Slides explaining concept (PDF) -

&name=DLFE-1402.pdf> tryMEout slides.pdf

That's the essence of the idea. Is this something you'd be willing to
participate in, either as a volunteer or a startup company? I'd appreciate
your feedback, positive or negative. And incidentally, I have no financial
stake in this idea (if anything, it's a distraction from my own startup).

Thanks for your time.
