Contract to hire Downtown Seattle
This is a senior-level Developer position. We are seeking a talented person with solid object-oriented analysis, design, and development experience to help create and maintain technical solutions to support our internal business customers. This person will be instrumental in the design, development, deployment and maintenance of state-of-the-art business information systems. They will assist in transitioning our current architecture into a paradigm conforming to industry best practices. The successful candidate will be driven by the desire for excellence and boundless curiosity.

Play a key role in the design and development of enterprise-class web application software
Explore and recommend infrastructure as required to support the needs of the executive, business and marketing groups to empower internal customers
Contribute to the daily maintenance, stability, and tuning of existing processes
Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
5+ years of industry experience using an OO language (Java/J2EE)
5+ years of enterprise experience with Java Frameworks (Hibernate, EJB, Spring, JSP)
In depth experience with Application Servers (JBoss, Resin, WebLogic)
Unix platform experience required, Red Hat Enterprise experience strongly preferred
3+ years experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
Intermediate to advanced JDBC and SQL skills
2 years of experience or relevant experience developing transactional web applications
Experience with IDE's (IntelliJ, NetBeans, Eclipse)
Experience in build tools (Ant, Maven)
Experience with revision control tools (Subversion)
Experience with Agile methodologies (eXtreme Programming, Scrum)
Experience with testing and analysis tools (JUnit)
SEO experience a plus
Full product development life cycle application experience required
BS in Computer Science or related technical field required.
