Hello Everyone,
This is a service message that applies only to technology professionals.
If any of you have found your own contract and find that you need a 3rd
party for invoicing and payment, we can help with our Passthru program
and provide you with a 1099 or W-2. We also counsel you on tax issues
pertaining to contracting and help you negotiate rates and terms. We can
act as Agent of Record or Employer of Record.
Doing contracts as a W-2 is more important then ever in this economic
environment. Create continuity for base periods or establish base
periods for unemployment in the future should you need it. State UI is
26 weeks and the Fed EUC UI is for 33 additional weeks at the State
weekly rate. UI can be used as needed between contracts and employment.
A huge benefit! The maximum UI in Oregon is $507/week.

Best regards,
Anthony
