[PJUG Javamail] Captcha is so evil; I once saw it kick a puppy!

In /most/ instances Captcha is rude. Most of us geeks find it
administratively improper etiquette. There has to be a strong reason for
using it.

Example: my Great Aunt has a Facebook account, I don't mind Captcha for
adding her. I understand the goal here, I'm protecting My Relative. I'm
willing to to something I would not normally do.

Others put it this way -
   "Just think about the types of places that use Captcha. Whenever I
see it, I think one thing; WOW they obviously can't figure out Spam
settings. How sad."

   "With the exception of how Google does it - I avoid anyone that uses
it. It makes me feel not valued"

My advice would be to use medium to light Spam settings and use a human
for the rest. That is, unless You are aiming for the 'childishness of
myspace.'

I let some one else cover how it might not be Holistically sound....
