Zack,
I'm sure you hear this alot from 'elders', but within 10 years you'll
find your child very much on their own, going to friends, sports,
sleepovers, etc.
You'll start to find empty time in your life and begin to get back
into the things that interest you. Diapers and playdates will be a
thing of the past, and you'll being
to really start treasuring each (infrequent, and half hearted) hug you
get from your budding teenager.
Welcome to parenthood.
