Our client, a well funded and fast growing startup with an industry
leading market position and a compelling value proposition, seeks a team
player to join their software development group. 

 

We seek a seasoned (senior) and well rounded professional with
demonstrated success in a variety of development environments and
platforms. You must be comfortable adhering to an agile (Scrum)
methodology. 

 

We are moving our original product from Java to Scala. The ideal person
has minimal exposure to Scala. 

For the right person, we will consider allowing a learning curve to come
up to speed in Scala and then utilize it in our environment. The "right
person" is someone who can demonstrate current/previous self study in
Scala and desires to put it into practice. 

 

Additional required skills include: Web Services, Server Development,
multithreading, and network protocol concepts. Scrum is our development
process.
