Technical Skills/ Tools required for Application team:


Server Side work, testing, Java, Usability, technical impact on scaling, performance, large enterprise apps. 


Having worked on a released product and well versed on working with MultiThreaded programming:

Web Services (SOAP/WSDL) 0 built from scratch, or AXIS


            
Batch processes

JUnit or Automated - TDD

Development Methodology:


            
Agile. Daily stand-ups.



Responsibilities
:  
Develop a large 3-tier J2EE application. Create component middleware architecture to integrate J2EE application with distributed legacy systems. Gather requirements on-site, author functional specifications and design documentation, and create both the server framework and JDBC persistence layer for DB2. Present architecture to customer's management team. Install and configured IBM WebSphere, and build the application EAR file for deployment.  
Implement centralized corporate security model, and create JUnit suite of tests, and perform regular code reviews.

Education:


A degree from a top tier College or University is highly desired.
