Ok, sorry for posting twice in the same day about GF (well technically 
its a new day now), but I often get a lot of questions about relative 
performance of different application servers and finding good stats is 
hard to come by.  Scott Oaks is one of the few people that knows how to 
do these comparisons and is one of the biggest reasons GlassFish 
performs so well.  And if you've read some of his previous JavaEE 
performance blogs, you already know that.  Here's his blog from 
yesterday comparing the performance of GlassFish v2, v3, Tomcat 6.0.20 
and JBoss 5.1 (nice graphs, higher is better):
