Larry was always keen on Java. I first used Java in the version 1.
0 days when I worked at Oracle in the UK, and there was all that 
boosterism around the Network Computer at the time. The internal 
PR pushing the platform at the time was quite overwhelming.

I'm still glad to hear he's been so explicit in his support for the 
language, though.
