Server Development Engineer- secure ecommerce
Develop software solutions that will drive the next generation of online
payment systems.

the success of this bleeding edge new technology development!
In this senior server development position you will design, develop,
integrate and tune a set of scalable, distributed client/server service
applications. Other responsibilities may include providing
standards/guidelines for server architecture and design, network
infrastructure build-out, integrating and/or developing solutions to
problems in delivery of ecommerce and online bill payment solutions.
You must possess a Bachelor of Science or a Master of Science degree in
Computer Science or Engineering with 7+ years of server product
development experience in multiple areas of system architecture and
design.
Experience developing distributed multi-tier enterprise server
applications and system management in Java and Unix/Linux.
Experience with Enterprise Java/J2EE/EJB
Experience in network and server architecture/configuration,
Working knowledge of relational and object databases, schema design,
ORB, stored procedures, triggers, tables/views, .etc. MySQL knowledge is
a plus.
Working knowledge of web technologies such as XML, DOM/DCOM, HTML, and
web services technologies like WSDL, XML, UDDI, SOAP, WS-*
Extensive experience in unit, integration, regression testing and
troubleshooting
Experience in the following is highly desired:
Smartcard, security, online commerce, financial/payment industries, PCI,
PKI, cryptographic technologies
This is a full time direct position in the Portland metro area
