[PJUG Javamail] Java DOA ?

First of all, I agree Joe. In the data center, as well as in middleware and
almost anywhere behind the firewall, Java is growing.  Java in externally
facing websites, however, seems waning.


1.  Who else has more work than they did last year?

 SOA, SOA and more SOA

 Not yet. Personal opinion, companies are starting to find that outsourcing
isn't all the cost savings it look like on paper.  They tend to lose out on
additional maintainence and customer dissatisfaction.  Seems like once every
month or so the Oregonian has an article about company's who bought into
outsourcing are now bringing the work back home.

 Time and energy?  I've heard of these...
