Amazon Merchant Technologies is looking for a talented senior developer to lead the creation of the seller success engine. The seller success program’s purpose is to systematically collect, aggregate and use data to coach sellers to improve their sales every day. The seller success engine will be a self-service, closed loop system to drive sellers to list more products, increase traffic to listings, and provide world-class customer experiences. The customers for this program will be the 1 million plus sellers that are currently on the platform and represent 1/3 of Amazon’s sales. The opportunity for impact is huge.
 
The lead developer role calls for an individual who has outstanding technical skills, a keen business understanding and strong leadership skills so they will be able to lead a small team to deliver innovative features that move the needle.
 
Qualifications
Successful candidate will have:
• Demonstrated experience delivering innovative, customer-centric products
• Entrepreneurial spirit combined with strong program and product management skills
• Deeply technical with track record of successful delivery as an individual contributor and leader
• Strong experience with building robust, scalable, distributed systems solutions to complex business problems
• Execution experience in fast-paced environments and performance driven culture
• Proven track record building, motivating and retaining teams of star players
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally at all levels
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent
