Job functions:
*  Participate in a team environment for the delivery and maintenance of J2EE applications
*  Design, program, debug and test a J2EE based customer portal application
*  Provide leadership, technical, interpersonal and administrative skills in performing day-to-day work

Technical skills:
*  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field
*  Minimum 10 years of development experience with at least 7 years experience with Java/J2EE
*  Database development experience on Oracle 9i/10g.
*  2 years of PL/SQL development experience.
*  Experience with Java based Web Services framework such as Axis or XFire.
*  Demonstrated expertise in Struts, SQL, JDBC, JSP, JMS, EJBs, Hibernate, Spring, Ant, Log4j, CVS, AJAX
*  Experience working on Agile projects
*  Experience with WebSphere Application Server 5 or later
*  Experience with Eclipse based IDE (Rational Application Developer experience preferred)
*  Experience writing unit tests with JUnit and working in a continuous integration development environment
*  Positive attitude and self motivated
*  Capability to work effectively with other team members
*  Ability to work with minimum direction
*  Capability to analyze, diagnose and resolve complex programming and system problems independently
*  Capability to effectively communicate with coworkers and all levels of management
*  Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technologies and methodologies and apply them to technological and/or business needs
*  Proven leadership skills and ability to technically direct the team
*  Ability to mentor and coach other team members in technical matters
