Java Systems Architect/Senior Developer 

We are currently seeking a Java Systems Architect/Senior Developer to join
our team. Your duties will include helping to design the architecture of the
core backend technology (social networking, server side mobile applications,
mobile commerce, etc). In depth knowledge of Java is required including
ability to create an architecture that will fit into a scalable environment.
After initial design work is completed you will be expected to help develop
core web services to facilitate applications running on hand held devices.
Prior work in the mobile application field is a plus, as is knowledge of
XML, compression technologies, and rules engines.

 

Required skill-set 

- Expert in J2EE 

- Expert in MySQL/PostgreSQL 

- Expert in Linux platform but also good knowledge of Windows systems 

- Expert understanding of client-server systems 

 

You must be available to start immediately. All work is done from home,
though it is required that you are located in the Portland, OR metropolitan
area.
