Job Title: Web Application Engineer - Senior

Responsibilities: 
This contracting position is within theB2b team which is responsible for
developing applications for the B2B website. The position involves
conducting analysis, design, and development of web based systems. You
will work with internal customers to determine IT solutions to meet the
growing business needs of the site. Your technical knowledge and
experience will help implement the solutions that will make the team
successful. 

Qualifications: 
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 7-9 years of
technical experience, with at least 3 years of Java programming
experience. 

Strong background in web-based systems is required, preferably with an
e-commerce focus, as are strong communication skills, both verbal and
written, plus the ability to work well in a team setting. The specific
technical skills that we need to successfully fulfill this role are
listed below, ranked in priority order, with 1 being the highest and 5
being the lowest:

Responsibilities


This contracting position is within B2b team which is responsible for
developing applications for the B2B website.  The position involves
conducting analysis, design, and development of web based systems.  You
will work with internal customers to determine IT solutions to meet the
growing business needs of the site.  Your technical knowledge and
experience will help implement the solutions that will make the team
successful.  

 

*        6 years' application development, systems analysis or other
technical experience

*        3-4 years' experience in Java programming  

*        Demonstrated capability in Object Oriented design with
knowledge of design patterns*         

*        Strong background in web based systems with an e-commerce
focus.  

*        Experience with Clearcase, IDEA, Hibernate, Spring, Struts, JSP
and JSTL is highly desirable

*        Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

*        Proven team player with a desire to be part of a winning team
